To help create a more peaceful world, the mission of PeaceMaker Minnesota is to help schools be safer places, free from bullying and harassment, and to help youth  learn positive relation skills like empathy, respect, cooperation and how to resolve conflicts peacefully.

More Schools To Access Bullying

PeaceMaker supporters are helping a record number of schools, perhaps 28 or more, to survey students in April and May about bullying and to receive a summary of the results by The Improve Group, an independent evaluation company.

The data gathered is a resource for school leaders when making decisions about school climate priorities and interventions.

“The Olweus survey is a great tool for a staff to measure progress,” states Danny Kieffer, Principal of St. Charles School.  “Each year we have conversations about improving our environment and it helps to have data to support these conversations.  We are able to see areas where we can improve, and it shows us when we have a reason to celebrate!”

This service costs approximately $1,000 per school, $250 per grade or $62 per classroom.  To help schools measure bullying and gain information for making improvements, please make a tax-deductible contribution here.
