To help create a more peaceful world, the mission of PeaceMaker Minnesota is to help schools be safer places, free from bullying and harassment, and to help youth  learn positive relation skills like empathy, respect, cooperation and how to resolve conflicts peacefully.

Opportunities to Help More Kids

In the last few months three schools have joined the PeaceMaker Minnesota network (Chanhassen High School, Isanti Intermediate / School for All Seasons, and St. Helena Catholic School in Minneapolis).

Eleven more schools, ten in the North St. Paul – Maplewood - Oakdale school district and one in Maple Grove, have recently applied to join the network.

With the additional partners comes the opportunity to help more kids become peacemakers by assisting schools to assess their bullying prevention efforts, to support teachers in implementing evidence-based programs, to provide trainings, and to raise matching funds to expand what can be done.

Thank you to everyone who is making this work possible!  If you know someone at a school who wants to do more to help kids value peace and to build community, please encourage your friend to visit our website and the How We Can Help tab.
