Kristan Fergason, Peace Guide
Kristan enjoyed a long career in the mental health field before making a career transition to the school system.
Fueled by her passion for developing positive and trusting relationships with people of all ages, she has spent the last several years working with students to help them meet behavioral expectations.
One of Kristan’s favorite quotes is, “Children live what they learn.” Behavior management, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem solving have always been of great interest to her.
Kristan has a Master’s degree in Human Relations from Webster University in St. Louis. Originally hailing from a suburb of Chicago, she married and moved to Minnesota in 1992. She and her husband, Brian, have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. In her spare time, Kristan enjoys animals (especially dogs), crafts, picking weeds (it’s therapeutic), music, her cabin, and family.
